Item 5.02
Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
 
On January 8, 2020, Bloomin’ Brands, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Donagh M. Herlihy, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, will leave the Company effective January 26, 2020. The Company entered into a Severance Agreement and General Release (“Separation Agreement”) with Mr. Herlihy, pursuant to which Mr. Herlihy will receive a lump sum severance payment of $1,500,000 and certain other benefits. The Separation Agreement also includes a release of claims and certain other covenants.
