TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 27, 2015 /PRNewswire/-- Bloomin' Brands, Inc. (NASDAQ: BLMN) closed the previously announced sale of Roy's to United Ohana, LLC, an affiliate of Sunil Dharod's SSCP Management Inc. 

As of January 26, 2015, United Ohana owns and operates all interests in the Roy's concept previously-owned by Bloomin' Brands.  Dharod, President and Chief Executive Officer of Apple Texas and Apple Houston, is the owner and operator of 69 Applebee's restaurants in Texas. 

Lazard acted as the exclusive financial advisor to Bloomin' Brands on the sale of Roy's.
